Bell Fairy aka Fée Clochette, French Delbard Cultivation, Released in 2008. Also known as Delparo, Fee Clochette. Japanese name Bell Fairy, Fe Clochette, Suzu no Yousei.
The “Bell Fairy” rose is a miniature variety, with a plant height of 50 cm and a flower diameter of 6 cm. It has 50-55 petals, and the flowers are pale pink or light apricot pink with a white edge on the outer layer, gradually turning orange-pink in the center with a soft transition. The flower color is fresh and elegant, sometimes displaying different sheens depending on the light and the degree of opening. The flowers are full, cup-shaped or rosette-shaped, with a mild fragrance and a hint of fruitiness.
It blooms quickly and is a prolific bloomer, but it tends to open and close in hot weather, resulting in poor flower shape retention.
The plant is robust, with a compact and upright shape, strong branching, almost no thorns, glossy leaves, and outstanding resistance to black spot and powdery mildew.
Flower enthusiasts often mistakenly write it as “灵之妖精” or “玲之妖精”.
“Fée Clochette” means “Little Fairy Tinker Bell” or “Bell Fairy” in French. This name comes directly from Tinker Bell, the famous fairy from J.M. Barrie’s Peter Pan story. Naming the rose “Fée Clochette” is intended to echo the delicate, light, and bell-like petite charm of its blossoms, as well as the dreamy and ethereal fairy-like quality conveyed by its unique pale pink hue.
