LIGHT MAKEUP

Light Makeup, origin unknown; purportedly sourced from Japanese cut flowers, but could not be verified.
The “Light Makeup” rose is a small shrub rose variety. The plant stands 60-80 cm tall, with relatively soft branches and upright growth. The flowers measure 8-9 cm in diameter, featuring light pink petals that are mostly creamy white. They have a cup-shaped form with slight outward curvature and a moderate fragrance that is not particularly strong.
“Thin-painted” flowers regrow quickly and are somewhat more tolerant of shade. The branches are smooth and have few thorns.
