This novel rose variety boasts a blend of “royal” qualities. Upright stems rise to shoulder height, each topped by a central round bud surrounded by five shorter-stemmed side buds. As the green sepals unfold, the blooms reveal a yellow base with a reddish sheen in sunlight.
The centre bud opens first, transforming into a full-petalled bloom of creamy white with soft lavender-tinted edges. Its core petals retain their original yellow-orange hue, gradually shifting with sun exposure.
As the central bloom matures and drops its petals, the side buds follow the same striking transformation. The bush is lush with healthy green foliage and resprouts readily, offering continuous flowering throughout the season – enhanced by a strong, captivating fragrance.
